What topics in history are you most knowledgeable about? (Not that you're claiming to be an expert...though if you are an expert, feel free to say that if you like).

Probably Roman era and prehistory/archaeology. I don't think anyone should claim to be expert unless they went to grad school in that specific area, so would not call myself an expert even if I thought I was an authority. Though in anything touched by politics there seem to be some pretty dodgy experts out there anyway.
I don't think that anyway, but I have read quite a bit and used to follow anything archaeology related every day. I have grown tired of that though, lately I have been reading WW II books in my spare time. I got a bunch of them on pdf and have been plowing through the whole lot.

Conversely there will be people who qualify in a subject and then never re-visit it for the rest of their lives.
Not really relevant except to give a grounding.

And before people jump all over me they should check out the meaning of expert.

Ancient history, medieval and early modern eras. Though my exact interest differs per region. Early modern for me in Africa or Asia, since they are critical for understanding more closely how they are today. Medieval for Europe, for the same reasons.
