I'm not aware of any different name, but Układ warszawski (Warsaw Pact).

Personally I don't consider the name "Warsaw Pact" to be offending. Everybody who knows what the Pact was, probably also knows that Poland wasn't in charge of it(funny thought).

As for the government in exile, I don't know much about it(unlike me, many Poles are interested mostly in the recent history, so they would be able to tell more), but as far as I know, it's considered to be an important part of Polish history, the only legal Polish government until the fall of soviet regime and mainly a good thing, while some specific decissions are criticized.
