Can someone please explain me the signification of a symbol?

The symbol is my current avatar. This is kinda very important to me so any help would be appreciated. Thank you all.

Where did you find/get the symbol. A bit more context might help.

symbols engage the imagination and carry lots of implied meaning, given the strong reliance of the human brain on linguistic concepts they are going to be naturally very important

Exactly what I was thinking (that it could be anything)...from what I gather, the symbol doesn't resemble anything I've researched during the Medieval or Early Modern Period...but then again, I haven't examined every document there is out there . We definitely need more context to work from.
