The Environment and wasting and destroying all the resources without a care. The world economy is based on using everything, buying new stuff, and excessiveness. People are programmed to want more and more, faster and faster. Changing the way things are done does not benefit the fat cats. They will chop down every last tree and drill every last well without a second thought. Unfortunately we are all going along with it and are probably just as much to blame for not changing the way we do things. We are assets to our own destruction. The whole global warming thing is only part of it.

The mass education, mass media and the government are all behind this capitalist idea of buying everything we don't need, but they still insists that we need it. The economy is the largest factor of our lives today, wealth has the control of our lives. And money hates anything that does not make money.

The continued growth of division between the political parties in the US; their political agenda clashes with the will of the people.

Most people can relate to some degree. People want property - whether movable goods or real property (land). It is understandable in that regard.
For those who may never have seen it, the 1987 movie Wall Street had a line of dialogue, that, IMO has a great deal of truth:
"It's all about money, kid. Everything else is just conversation."

Human disunity, factionalism, and division. The same plague that has effected our race for the entirety of its existence.
