Arrow Historical Name Changes

Who are some noted historical figures who had name changes partway through their lives and careers?

I will use my illustrious username inspiration as a starter.

The man the Frankish barbarians called "Saladin" was born Yusuf ibn Ayyub. That's Joseph, son of Job, in English.

By the time of his tragic death in 1193, Joe's full name was al-Malik an-Nasir Yusuf ibn Ayyub Salah ad-Din. The King, the Victorious Prince, Joseph, Son of Job, the Glory of the Religion.

Who are some other historical people who had name changes? Or very long additions to their names given at the pinnacle of their careers?

Re: Historical Name Changes

Sunda Kings have tradition about changing names.

if a King have done great thing, he will given "Sri Baduga Maharaja"(The Great King of Kings). example; Ratu Jayadewata, called Sri Baduga Mahajara Ratu Haji Jayadewata after unifying Sunda and Galuh.

if a King dead, he will given "Sang Mokteng *insert place of death here*". example; Prabu Linggabuanawisesa, after fallen in Bubat, he called Sang Mokteng Bubat.

special for Linggabuanawisesa, He also called "Prabu Wangi"(King with pleasant fragrance). for his honorable death in Bubat.

If a King able to succeed Prabu Wangi, he called "Siliwangi"(Successor of Wangi). the only example; Ratu Jayadewata.
