space-history"Soyuz attaching system to ISS

As Soyuz TMA-03M attached to the ISS live on dutch tv last week, there was some mentioning of the russian who developed the system which attaches the rocket to the spacestation. He wrote a book about it, but I cannot remember the russian guys name....as I think it exists for some time already and therefore is part of space-history, I was hoping for some help here

any help?

thanks in advance
