The first ingredient is to go into research with an open mind.
One cannot do all the research off the internet, that should only
bolster, support, confirm, ridicule or lead you on to more research.
You have to open a book and more than one.
You have to read a pro and a con opinion and then check the sources,
and research again. In the end, the final product is left to your brain
alone in what you want to believe.
People today, even on this board, squabble over the same event using
the same data, to come to different conclusion.
In the end, even with your conclusion, always be looking to see if there's
more out there on the topic. Never be ripe, but always growing in History.
