I have two big questions I need to answer that I dont understand. It's for an essay.
1)The Indigenous peoples of the americans had various methods of living conditions and social orders before the encounter and conquest of the iberians. (I have to briefly describe the progressions of civilization in pre-columbian america. I have to explain the differences of the three classes of societies and economic systems in the americas. I have to describe again in detail the two major civilizations and empires of pre-columbian american. i need to detail the lives of the people, especially teh common people, who were basis of those empires.) How did the members of those societies view themselves and others? How did the Europeans view native americans? how did native americans view Europeans?
2)spain had a long history of upheaval and conquest before and during its unification. (briefly, describe the early developement and influences of spain. explain how the invasion of the moors shaped spanish perceptions of the world.) what was the connections between the reconquista and the spanish inquisition? what role did religion play in the devlopement of spanish thought? why? how did the reconquest shape spanish culture: compare and contrast the two primary kingdoms of spain. how did those kingdoms influence the developement of spain? how did the spanish view themselves? why? how did others view the spanish?

Golly, I count 15 questions. The subject of each has had entire books written about it.
What is the intention here? To get 15 answers and compose them into 5 paragraphs of 3 sentences each?

But, but, why wouldn't one just ask one question each on 15 different history forums? That would still be easier than doing one's own reading.

Maybe we should have a welcome board which explains that homework questions won't be answered until the member has contributed 50 or more posts to the Historum community.
Sort of the way real life works.

That's a fine idea. I think instead of answering all the questions, someone could have gave me a better understanding about that time period. It's ok though, I know what to expect next time. Thanks for the advice.

Why not start a history homework forum and a dedicated team of volunteers could answer all the queries.
