What's your favorite topic/"genre"/theme in history

In short the title says so what part of history do you prefer to watch, read, visit or see. It can be as big a history as you want or as small a history as u want (let's say for example roman and film). I pick my top 5 and feel free to join in.

1. Roman. I love everything about them, the myths the buildings, the characters, the military and how much it has in common with modern western history.
2. British. As im from the UK it does really intrest me especally the royal family, navy and many other things that I can put my finger on at the moment.
3. World War 2. It's probaly because it's so fresh in the memories of the us and having known people who served in it.
4. Napolonic Wars. I really like the Duke of Wellington's campaigns and Horatio Nelson's navy battles.
5. Christian History. I like the orgin's, myths, like old church's, the templars, and the crusades.

No problem. I've opened a few duplicate threads myself.

I am most fascinated by ancient and medieval history, with a particular interest in British history. The lives of ordinary people, women in particular, are of great interest to me.
