Of all the wars for independence, think of the Eighty Years War (Dutch independence against the Spanish, American Revolution, Gandhi struggle for Indian independence etc. Which of all those struggles in history interests you the most and why?

The Bush Wars also fascinates me, again for obvious reasons... These many more, but first I have to remember them...

Any resistance movement in the occupied countries during WW2.
The Polish uprising against the Nazi's (in Warsaw) is particularly inspiring. Then the eastern Europeans (in general) resistance movements to the Soviets. I don't think they get the credit which is deserved.
