History Teaching Resources? Any Suggestions

Hi everyone,
I am a history / philosophy / education student. I will be starting my student teaching shortly and I was hoping to find a nice source for historical audio (speeches, commentary etc..) and video files. Also, if anyone has any suggestions for sites that focus on teaching history I would appreciate any feedback.

Thanks in advance and I look forward to exploring this forum and contributing.

Welcome to the rewarding, wacky most frustrating-fun time of being a teacher; if you last.

Welcome to Historum Matt. There are some good audio sources on History.com. Also, have you heard about Unitedstreaming.com? It is a source specifically for educators. If you would like to have access, let me know and I will send you my username and password to get through to it. You will find awesome video clips, audio, pictures, and maps. They also have lesson plans that you can use. Let me know what you teach and I can help you find some interesting stuff for whatever your teaching.

I like to throw those videos into PowerPoints...makes for a nice break from notes.
