So in my slightly drunken state i've decided that i'm going to compile a list of my 10 favorite historical figures of all time. The Top 2 are pretty much set in stone:
1) Julius Caesar
2) Douglas MacArthur
After that though I have a number of names i'm considering, but before I put together a final list i'm going to compile a list of all the people i'm going to consider for the final 8 spots, at which time i'll make a decision for who to include.
That is where the good folks of this board come in. I have a number of people down so far that i'm going to consider, but if you would care to nominate someone else for a spot, please do, as I can assure you there are at least a handful of people that I would put on my list for sure if I would have remembered them.
So far, I have the following names:
Napoleon
Gaius Marius
Scipio Africianus
Flavis Aetius
Attila The Hun
Gengis Khan
Augustus
Stonewall Jackson
Robert E Lee
Trajan
Charlamange
Erwin Rommell
Hannibal
Winston Churchill
Ronald Reagan
Gregory Zhukov

Meh... I simply can't claim favorites yet. But, ones I really, especially like that come to mind are these folks:
-Nikola Tesla
-Niccolo Machiavelli
-Jesus (Not just because of who he is, but he had an interesting history.)
-Alexander the Great
-Friedrich Nietzsche
-Marcus Aurelius
-Alaric (I don't know why... There is just something about him.. Not that we know much about him.)
Gah.. My mind is blank.

Alexander the Great
Theodore Roosevelt
Francisco Pizarro
Sir Arthur Currie
Isambard Kingdom Brunel
Helmuth von Moltke the Elder
Cato the Younger
Arthur Wellesley
Solon
