Before the Deluge.....Germany in the 1920s

Currently reading Before the Deluge: A portrait of Berlin in the 1920s by Otto Friedrich

I'm trying to write a blog post on how you can't just blame Adolf Hitler for the War and that individuals such as him are a reflection of the state of society around them.

Very interesting book that goes into details about the goings and happenings of Germany in the Weimar Republic that we here in Canada were never exposed to as high school history students.

Does anyone have other recommendations that could help me in my readings?
