He's a smart guy and I agree with the way he preferes to analyze trends rather than day to day headlines. His book about the future of warfare back in 1995 is what got me into geopolitics. He looks at things from a geopolitical point of view, geography being one of the most important things affecting a country. His opinion on Turkey seems to be coming to fruitation as is his view on Poland. At first, his prediction about Mexico seemed absurd but if you think it through and disregard preconceived notions, it looks possible that Mexico could be the next number 1 world power. They've already got a large foothold in the US.
