Ive just ordered the following, in order:

A Bloody Field In Shrewsbury (Henry IV)
Red Rose of Anjou (Henry VI / Richard Plantagenet)
The Sunne In Splendour (Richard III)

These should teach me a thing or two about the Wars of The Roses!

I am currently reading Genghis Khan: Life, Death and Resurrection by John Man.

So far the book seems to be more of an insight into the culture of modern-day Mongolia rather than the life of Genghis himself. Hopefully that changes soon.

Have you tried the Conqueror Series by Conn Iggulden? I've heard its a good series about the life of Genghis Khan.

I recently bought and finished reading "Cecily Neville": Mother of Kings" by Amy Licence and it is really good. I highly recommend it. She's one of the best authors, very balanced and objective and doesn't spare any punches. She puts forward the flaws in each of her subjects including Cecily Neville's family as well as their attributes. She does justice to this woman. I learned a lot from her.

"The Red Queen" by Philippa Gregory. It's about Margaret Beufort, the "founder" of the Tudor dynasty. Great book!

I recommend Margaret Beaufort by Elizabeth Norton too It is a good companion piece after Gregory, it is a bio on Margaret Beaufort. Really good. There's another bio on her by Jones and Underwood but I prefer Norton, it is more objective.
