Its kind of my pet subject so I'm quite happy to have found a book about the rivalry between these two in particular.

Today afternoon, I received one of the three books I had ordered from Amazon.in. It is ' Sapiens ' subtitled ' A Brief History of Humankind '. Written by Yuval Noah Harari, it is published by Vintage Books,London UK, an English translation of a book in Hebrew , first published in Israel in 2011.
ISBN is 978-0-0999-59008-8.
The book has twenty chapters spread across 465 pages plus Notes, acknowledgements, image credits and an index. There are 48 photographs and a very large number of sketches which appear without numbers. A very thought provoking book. Highly recommended.

Looking forward to learning some US history, so as I will have some idea what you're all talking about. As well as The Russio-Japanese war, Gualdal Canal and of course the Rolling Stones.
