I'm a fan of horror/gore movies (
and comedies, so please don't think of me as a budding Leatherface or Ted Bundy). Here's just three of my favorites:
- Texas Chainsaw Massacre (the '03 remake, not the '74 original)
- The Devil's Rejects (some real sickos in that one, let me tell you!)
- Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer (little-known but excellent)
I might add that these movies don't "motivate" me, so you can cancel that 911 call to the cops. I sure don't need them ventilating my front door with a battering ram at 3 am. (Hell, I'm still in the process of repairing the damn thing from the last time they did that).
btw -- Although
Troy didn't inspire me in any way, I'm with you, Syryus: it was a good flick. You might want to check out
Kingdom of Heaven starring Orlando Bloom (he played Legolas in
LOTR); a flick about the Crusaders in the Holy Land.
