I thought it was good for what it was. Although the ending was terribly anticlimactic and left me saying "What...."

I wouldn't rip it as bad a Harvey did. Some great action and special effects, but really strayed from the plot path of the 80s movie. Kind of like any remake in that if you go in with certain expectations from the original, you are bound to be let down. I have learned to go to a remake and pretend like it is all brand new, then compare afterward. If it holds up, great. If not, was it worth my money? This was worth my money and many folks loved it, usually the ones who have not seen the old film.

My critique...too humanistic. It's Greek mythology, that's what we want to see, give it to us.

The worst remake I remember was the Dukes of Hazard movie with Jessica Simpson. Not entertaining and little to do with the old show.
