"Once Upon a Time... Man"- 40th anniversary

I noticed this year is the 40th anniversary of the TV show "Once Upon a Time... Man". I don't don't know if it needs introduction but it was an history French TV show designed for children and directed by Albert Barillé. It goes from the Big Bang to the big unknown of what might be the future of mankind and is still current after 40 years.
The show trails a group of people who are always the same, some better behaved and others worse, and it doesn't hide the sometimes violent reality to which people were subject.
I have to be honest that I can't remember an historical TV show for kids that was so accurate or extensive, in fact I can't remember any. So I think it is well deserving of a mention in this forum.

I remember it was a great series and I never missed an episode.
I remember that in the last ones they dealt with the future problems of recycling of consumer waste.
Good point!
