Sorry, I had to bring this thread back.
After reading all of your posts I was extremely curious, and even more skeptical about this film.
After watching it I was a little confused, and extremely disturbed. But...
I loved this movie. It was so disturbing and very twisted, but I found myself loving it the more I thought about it.
I couldn't not post my review, haha.

Currently at 5-2. Perhaps I will just wait for cable, unless of course it goes on one of those Target sales for 5.99. I could drop some coin then.

I got bored after 40 minutes and I stopped watching.
It is a shame, it could have been much better.

I can definitely see why people did not like this movie, it is very very very boring.
I can see the same people who hated this hating There Will be Blood, which is one of my favorite movies also.

The movie had great cinnematogrophy, and a ton of symbolism. The action was brutal and felt very real.
The plot was boring, and sometimes confusing. There is a lot of down time in the movie, and it just seemed to drag on.
It's good for one of those movies to put on in the background with a group of friends, and make fun of.
I would not buy this movie.
