World War 2 in HD Colour


There is this very cool and interesting show that is on PBS at 9:00 MST and has appeared on History Channel. It's really good with all of it is original tape from WWII

I've seen it, and I agree with you that it's a good documentary. The fact that it's all color footage is cool.

I saw it. Couldn't stand it, had to instantly grab a copy on Historychannel.com I watch it over and over.

That series is beautiful for the way it portrays the people highlighted. A definite must for anyone interested in that generation.

The colour is mind blowing, I have seen some of the same footage before but only in shades. To see it again in very detailed hd and highly colourful like that was crazy. Seeing people and events you have always seen in shade in bright detailed colour is intense. It changes your entire mental picture of the person / event.

I watch it whenever I see it on for sure. Love it.
