Seems (to me, at least) that Discovery Channel and even more so History Channel have been losing it in recent years. If so, part of the reason is viewership/revenue being siphoned off to new media - such as YouTube , where production costs can be a small fraction of what it takes for an episode on television. Some South Koreans recently made a movie using nothing but a few cell phone cameras!

Anyway, this video's premise is ridiculous. Rum saved the world.
