Lol!True!I find him a bit expressionless too, but I don't know if this is connected with his non-mighty chin

Probably just due to the fact that the actor portraying Spartucus is still learning his craft.

Hah, that is harsh. I only agree on the '300' reference. Even in gladiator the concept wasn't original, frankly how can they be blamed for that. A classic concept is fair use. The sex, is what people expect from the network the show is on and the setting, well I don't see how that can't be held against the show in any manner.

The 300 graphics are pretty dumb, and almost every time they were used unnecessary. I've seen every episode and not once have I felt the extra blood graphics/pauses justified.

So, is it historically appealing in the same way as a History Channel program, no; but I'm sure some people will be piqued by the show into learning a bit more on gladiators, and maybe roman culture in general.

Either way, I like the show, tis' good.

What I expected to be the best of it, the battles, are extremely lame. The historical accuracy is very law. What I have seen in
Thracian_Tomb_of_Kazanlak Thracian_Tomb_of_Kazanlak
is not what was shown in the series. The Roman landscapes, even not in Rome, are too cheap. The animation is too much.

If this was an introduction video to a PC game, it would be fantastic. But for tv series... If compared to Rome and Gladiator, it is nothing.

Well it might not be accurate historically, but it's fun imo. I like it

It's more in the style of 300 as far as battles are concerned. Still not bad, but it's a matter of personal taste, so...
