I don't like the kid playing Arthur... I hate to be so vain but he's really weird looking (big ears that look like they've been pinned back, strangely shaped eyes and crooked teeth) and not how I picture Arthur at all (always pictured him as a brunette). Plus, he's so skinny! I know he's supposed to inherit the throne very young but eventually, he's supposed to become Britain's greatest king and I can't see this actor pulling that off.

I have to say, Michael Hirst is a busy man.

He does kind of look like a brat/ spoiled kid. Perhaps they wanted him to look that way to greater convey the change as he becomes King?

Yeah but unless they get a different actor in to play Arthur as he gets older, I can't see how they are going to show those changes - I don't think the current actor can pull it off.

Any reviews after second episode? I must tell i like it very much. This is pretty different than for example BBC Merlin. A little dark, naturalistic and pretty enjoyable.
