Should History Chanel make a rapid change?

I don't know about you, but I think History Chanel is losing his routs. I think not even 50% is history anymore. Why do they keep replacing nice history documentaries into show like Road truckers. All of that is okay, but then they shouldn't call themselves history channel anymore don't you agree?

The HC will not budge one iota from what it makes the most money on.
It has let its early success as the premiere channel, go to its head, and sold
its corporate soul for a shiny coin.

Saying all that,i watched a brilliant documentary on the History Channel - Military last night on the 1529 Ottoman siege of Vienna.

Thoroughly enjoyed it,i suppose it's watching it at the right time, being lucky.

There are far better shows, as you wrote Hal, on History International etc.
Its just the parent root has become malignant.

I watch the Discovery Channel and all I see is that guy from Ultimate Survival eating anything he says
I mean, he ate Lizards, Worms, Snakes and Scorpions!

I think I watch History International since the Channel here is only called "History".

Then him and the film go back to the hotel and eat room service.

When Bear Grylls squeezed much needed moisture out of elephant dung I walked away from the History Channel forever.
