We've seen so many movies about ancient Greece or Rome but not a special Byzantine one.
Would you like to see such a movie getting launched? If yes which period and topic should be chosen for that purpose?

HBO needs to hire a scriptwriter for an excessively violent and sexual Justinian and Theodora in the vein of their Rome. A show focusing on Byzantium during the passage of the First Crusade could also be very interesting.

Its very interesting that there are no (or small amount) of movies about the Byzantine empire, it is a shame actually, i would like to watch at one.
There are a couple of bulgarian movies about the middle ages, which of course future the Byzantine empire. There is a movie about Constantine the Philosopher (St. Cyril) one of the two brothers creators of glagolic alphabet.

I'd prefer one about the events of 1204 and the fourth crusade. | | |

To be honest I would rather see a movie about the CeltoGreek war (280 BC) instead!
