Perhaps, but when you see an accurate movie that you can appreciate, I think it really adds to the enjoyment.

Witchfinder General is reasonably accurate regarding costumes, props, location and events although the ending is completely wrong.

"The Alamo" 2004 was pretty much on the mark, save for a few Hollywood embellishments.

Overall, I believe Enemy at the Gates was pretty accurate. Even to the last scenes.

I think "The Accursed Kings" (French version, made by Gerard Depardieu) is pretty accurate. Unfortunately, it has no English captions, but a very good movie.
