I remember watching this documentary on History, it's your average samurai documentary(pretty cliché)

I am one of the people that enjoy a good Musashi story, more for the romantic epic than the real history, but I thought that documentary was fairly disappointing. Mostly for Mark Dacascos more than anything.

I do think it is a good add for the site though, Mark. Others may not mind the narrator as much as I.

I only remember the Ancient Warriors (right name?), with the Vin Diesel wannaba, and the 300-esque animation. Blech.

Those animations still haunt me everytime I try to imagine the Battle of Hydaspes or Lake Trasimene

I see the History Channel logo and I see the name Miyamoto Musashi, and I am instantly suspicious, but I shall try to watch it with an open mind.

Ah man! This documentary was awesome!!! I watched it one morning before work and I had to call out that day because my face had completely melted off due to total awesomeness!!! I added it to my instant queue on Netflix once but my PS3 spontaneously combusted as a result of extreme awesomation.

Only watch this documentary if you want to have awesome permanently etched into your eyeballs.
