I recently saw one where some jackass was selling a book from the library of Copernicus.
In a Vegas pawn shop. Unbelievable.

I saw a program a couple nights back called the National History Bee, The content, when they were asking and answering questions, was decent enoough, but literally everything else about the show made my blood boil. The stupid anouncers, the host, the "interviews" with the contestants. There was a point where they asked "whats the hardest part of the history bee?" which was followed by (obviously edited) footage of the contestants muttering "uhhmmm uhhh ehhh" for 2 or 3 minutes while stupid xylophone music played in the back. It infuriated me, so i turned it off.

The good old days when history channel aired documentaries on the Peloponnesian war are a long distant past.
