Constantine XI / Mehmed II
It would show the siege of Constantinople highlighting the epic battle from both sides. Halil Pasha and Giovanni Giustiniani as side characters.
Ian Douglas Smith
Defying Britain and making his embargoed country prosper against all odds.

Sir William Marshall would be a perfect mini-series. Was born in the time when Matilda and Stephen were fighting for the throne, was held as a hostage by Stephen for his father's good conduct. Was nearly killed by Stephen when his father famously told Stephen to "go ahead and kill him" because he had the hammer and anvil to make more and better sons. He was a faithful knight to Eleanor of Aquitaine, who ransomed him after he was wounded and captured helping her escape from an ambush. He was a champion on the tournament circuit. He served 3 English kings, and Henry II's heir, called the young king. Going on pilgrimage to Jerusalem to fulfil a vow made by the Young King who died before he could do it himself. He managed to keep his head, and gain an Earlship and a wealthy wife in one of the most turbulent times in English history. What a life!!

How about one about Talleyrand? He certainly led an interesting life and his exploits were full of enough treachery and intrigue to keep it interesting.

For those who like watching HBO's series "Boardwalk Empire"
I'd like to see a mini series on the life of Al Capone
