Joan of Arc, really quite an unusual story

American: maybe something about Lewis and Clark.

Siege of Malta 1565 would be an epic

I'd like a trilogy of the Peloponnesian War.

Starting with Pericles giving Sparta grief, the command and deaths of the warhawk Cleon and bold Brasidas and the rise of the new men Alcibiades and Lysander, the catastrophe of the Sicilian expedition and the triumphal return of Alcibiades from exile, culminating in the fall of Athens at the hands of Lysander.

Epic.

that was exactly the one i was going to pick, audiences i'm sure would refuse to belive that it was based on true events because it was too epic and the bravery of the defenders too much to ever imagine

And of course, some sort of time travel flick.
i love time travel books/movies too. have you seen "timeline"? i liked the book better but the movie was good too..
"kate and leopold" was a funny movie but it's more of a chick flick..

Yes, I've always wanted to see a historical movie on China that did not involve superman kung fu.

A 3-part about the life of Charles the Bold
A movie about the life of Caterina Sforza and one about Mithridates VI

A big budget kolossal about Historum itself
(of course with Gerald Butler as Okamido)
