Is Last of the Mohicans the most underrated film ever?

Who's with me? Last of the Mohicans is just an awesome movie. Like the scene when he jumps out of the waterfall and he's yelling at Cora "I WILL FIND YOU! No matter how far! I will find you!!"

That movie gives me chills :tonqe:

The actor who plays Magua, was simply amazing. He's been in like every Indian movie you can think of.

They did kind of butcher the book though. In the book Cora falls in love with Uncas, not Hawkeye.

But that ambush scene after the Fight at Fort William Henry was so awesome.

One of the few films I've ever seen where the attention to costume detail was faultless....and the music score. Cetrainly in my top ten films of all time list.

After reading Mark Twain's 'Coopers Literary Offenses' I would have a hard time sitting through any movie based on his works. Even though I am fully aware that movie makers could care less about fidelity to the original.

Very good movie, although I don't know if I'd go as far as saying it's the most underrated film ever.

I've been meaning to read the book for quite some time. It's sitting here right next to me, taunting me.
