Re: Hannibal : the Conqueror

Is this movie real?release date anyone? also more info it says i need imbd pro

Also belisarius is right he lost it in a marsh riding there one elephant following trebia before trasamine. He was a front line guy and a hell of a fighter just like alexander. If i recall he was in the center with the weak troops(gauls) an Cannae so while they got pushed back no one ran.

And yes he conquered our hearts :P

Re: Hannibal : the Conqueror

I read somewhere it was no longer on - and that he was contemplating doing some sort of Hannibal MMORPG instead... which didn't sound too bad actually.

IMDB now says it is in "development", so I doubt we will ever see it. He did seem passionate about it, maybe it would have been tolerable.

Hope this turns out alright, given this movie ever gets made, would like to see Vin Diesel's take on Hannibal.

It is okay, probably the best documentary on it available, but I'd stick to reading those books you picked up by Lazenby first!

It's justs a documentary? I see it stars a guy from Star Trek, so I thought it was a real film.

Meh.

Can't you just enjoy the movie and leave f***ing "historical accuracy" for yourself?

I can't wait to see the movie, and enjoy in good action without stupid questions about elephants, slingers and s**ts.

Meh.
It is a docu-drama, a strange breed indeed. The narrator is none other than the same guy who played Pompey in HBO's Rome. Think Sidig makes a better Julian, to be honest. Ben Cross (Sarek from Star Trek) plays Fabius Maximus too.
