Looking for historians on the hundred Years War.

Looking for historians with certain views as to why England lost the war. Finding a lot of work written on the topic but none that actually name the main reason for why thee war resulted the way it did.(whether it was the Burgundian splitting from England, or something else). Any primary sources that relate to this topic or places I could find some would be appreciated to.
Thanks.

The most known primary sources are probably the Froissart's Chronicles: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Froissart%27s_Chronicles

by the court historian (chronicler) Jean Froissart. The work is available at the Project Gutenberg and in the Archives (see the links in the bottom). There are some royal historians equivalent in other kingdoms at the time, whit the same particular kind of historiography (like in Castile and Portugal – respectively Pero López de Ayala and Fernão Lopes), but I don’t recall if there is a similar character for England.
