classroom websites

My wife introduced me to weebly.com, a site where you can create your own website. I have played around with it a bit and came up with a site that I will use this year for my students. You can explore my site at www.serranoj.weebly.com

If you want to create your own site go to www.weebly.com

To create the basic site for free, go to www.weebly.com

I'm also looking for a good photo to put on my home page. If you have any suggestions please let me know . My site is still in a work in progress.

Re: classroom websites

your site is looking good, real good. I like the photo you have but I suppose you are looking for something that would be greater interest to kids. or older? all ages? With a little hint as to who you wish to attract I'll see what I can come up with. Would love to make a contribution to the cause of education.

I'll need the pixel dimensions that Weebly asks for. Probably about this size?

Click the image to open in full size.

Thanks for the tip Comet - since Geocities is closing down - I was looking for somewhere to relocate to.

Love the "sunset" !!

I have a site but have struggled a little to know what to put on it so the students actually go to it. Any ideas?

Would you mind giving us the link? I would love to take a look at what you have. Maybe if we look at it, we can see what we can do. I'm always up for new ideas too

I really don't have anything on it right now and am considering changing it IF I decide it will be worth my time and effort.
