After the threads on the Cathers then the Waldensians --- now i find this

the "MYSTICISM" & Gregory the Great. what is going on here.

it was a general question --- i was up to my eyeballs trying to figure out the Cathars - then the conversation moved to the W's -- and the i click into other religions, secs, ideas, etc from the 12th century -- and up comes all this stuff on "Mysticism" -- was this also a new movement, religious idea, or what. since most of this stuff is very new to me, i thought the 11-14th centuries where somewhat calm with just the crusades --- boy -- talk about missing the ballgame.
