I felt That this deserved a thread, apparently archaeologist are digging up a car park that they believe that Richard III society headed by Philippa Langley that says Richards body lays in a car park of Leicester city social services car park. They have got someone that was descended from Richard's elder sister to give a DNA sample from Canada. I have watch this being reported on the telly, What are your thoughts on this. I anyone can bring their opinions on this, or links I would be thankful.

Yeah the BBC are covering it, apparently the abbey has been found in the car park, whether it leads to Richard being located I doubt very much.

I would thought time team would be there, channel 4. Time team.? Whats going on? I know the place that they digging as I went there two years ago. Have you any links? | | |

If Richard's bones are really under that carpark, then I think he's got a better deal than Morton whose grave split open and all his bones got stolen except for the head. Why anyone would want to steal his bones is beyond me since he's not a saint like Thomas More or Margaret Pole. What I can not understand is how are they going to find the truth about what happened back then by digging the bones. Is it just to show that he did not have a hunch back?  | | |
