Devdas

Yes friend had many costs for Portugal.
Firstly all of Europe and U.S.A were against Portugal (the friends?)
Many weapons appeared in Portuguese Africa in the hands of those who fought against Portugal
Forward. Salazar only saw Portuguese Africa Portugal was a country closed to all of Europe
only that the costs that Portugal had was the country's detention for 48 years of dictatorship the 13 years of war that portugal had helped more to Portugal to be a more lagged country, for example in the industry human rights up in education in the increase of population, at that time the village had only 4 years of Portuguese language school practically with a brutal culture with its Portuguese citizens, few or none knew how to speak English today we have policemen who can speak English something that at the time of Portuguese fascism there was not, in Salazar's policy and that helped him to stay in power, in 1968 Salazar feared with a small revolution of the students of the University of Coimbra but before three years the 13 of February of 1965, the PIDE assassinated General Humberto a man who fought by free elections assassinated at the command of Salazar.
Yes friend the Portuguese suffered a lot, many parents saw their children go to war and many never returned, had a friend older than me 4 years went to war and never came back.Today that we have a democracy in Portugal o Portuguese state does not want to know about the Portuguese who gave their lives in the name of Portugal, it was time for the Portuguese state to send back the remains for many Portuguese families to make their funerals and to be close to their children who left and never returned to this day are abandoned by a country called Portugal that claims to be a democratic country, my country friend with this attitude that has with his compatriots who died in the name of Portugal sometimes think that we are still in a dictatorship, to see these parasites of certain Portuguese politicians to steal fortunes of money from the Portuguese currency.
What I know more to say is this was a stupid 13 year war on three fronts Angola Mozambique and Guinea Bissau. I was lucky 25 April 1974 I was going to be 16 at 19 years old and many of my generation had to go to the Portuguese colonial war.
In half a million Portuguese families lost their son in the dead war without traumatized arms without arms etc.etc. and my anger is the Portuguese state do not help who suffered in the name of Portugal and its flag.
Live at 25 April 1974 Portuguese military outside Portugal no

Portugal outside NATO yes

This is an English language forum. You are not required post everything in Portuguese. Unless it's relevant to the topic, just post in English.
