Genetic pool of the Middle East

Where would you go in the Middle East to find somewhat racially pure people?

Where would you go in the Middle East to find a big melting pot?

Do northern Middle Easterns have closer genetic makeups to people in the Caucasus and south Europe?

What do you mean by pure? There is no such thing as pure genetic makeup, there are just long isolated pockets.

And I guess by what I have seen in history there is zero chance you would be able to find any single group which have lived here for more than 10 thousand years.

Like a racially pure group. No intermarriages.

I would be surprised if there were racially pure people in the Middle East. Far too many invasions.

I think the Lebanon is a bit of a melting pot. I'm not too sure of others at the moment.

It would depend with the issue of genetic make-up. The Caucasus has a connection, and some of these areas belonged to Persia until after the war against Russia, 1804-1813.

Samaritans. They have been avoiding intermarriages for a really long time. The rest could not avoid such thing, I myself think that I must be a mixture of Aryans-Elamites-Arabs.

you would be very hard pressed to find a racially pure population in the Middle East. In fact, about 60,000 years ago humans were marrying Neanderthals in the Middle East. Excerpt from the article:
The first opportunity for interbreeding probably occurred about 60,000 years ago in Middle Eastern regions adjacent to Africa, where archaeological evidence shows the two species overlapped for a time, the team says.

There has been some evidence of the mix of species in Europe too. However when talking about purity it is unlikely we would be talking about that far back as our starting place.

Racial purity does not exist anyway....

Israel is probably a melting pot since 20% of the population consists of Arabs, 75% are Jews and another 5% come from other backgrounds.

Probably yes, but genetic makeup is not what really matters. What makes us really different is our culture in general.

I agree....The Samaritans is my answer, as well.

For in depth research on them, see this : http://evolutsioon.ut.ee/publications/Shen2004.pdf

A somewhat "pure" group (in relatively recent years) would be that of the Parsis (the Zoroastrians from Iran) who came to India around ten centuries ago and since they largely chose not to intermarry their numbers have dwindled to as low as 30,000 today.

Quote:
Parsi or Parsee ( /ˈpɑrsiː/) refers to a member of the larger of the two Persian Zoroastrian communities in South Asia, the other being the Irani community.
According to tradition, the present-day Parsis descend from a group of Persian Zoroastrians who immigrated to India during 10th century AD,[1] due to persecution by Muslims in Greater Persia.[2][3][4] The long presence in the region distinguishes the Parsis from the Iranis, who are more recent arrivals, and who represent the smaller of the two Indian-Zoroastrian communities.
