Greetings from Gongju, Republic of Korea

Hi everyone. It's been awhile since I've done the message board discussion. I used to be active in various communities about the web, but just haven't had time for it in the past few years.
I hope to become more active on this forum, as after a fair amount of time lurking, I have noticed some extremely intelligent folks on here. I hope that I can keep up, I know I am more than a little rusty.

I have a taste for all things historical, philosophical, and scientific. However, I am particularly fond of Late Antiquity, the Byzantine era, Modern Balkans, and Modern Asia.

Hope to talk to all of you soon!

Hi, let me be the first to extend welcome to you. BTW, is Gongju the place where the famous protest was held at?

Hi "Mandate",

Actually, the democracy protest was held at Gwangju, at the far south end of the peninsula.

Gongju was famous as one of the capitals of Baekje Dynasty during the middle ages in Korea.
