Good luck with the studies.

Thank you!

(And maybe one day I will find back to a more positive view on Germany, although this is very hard to imagine at the moment.)

History is a long time...perhaps the best is yet to be?

I suggest asking in Russian, French, Arabic, Spanish...the list goes on.

Recently I am especially interested in the ancient Greek and Phoenician seafaring civilizations in the east Mediterranean region.

Another thought I want to share with you: I just watched a documentary about the history of Germany, beginning with the Germans in the Roman time up to today. Germany had such a great history... until 1933...
I feel that World War II and our own stupidity in this period destroyed Germany forever. I wish the Allies had exterminated us in 1945, after 1945 our country never recovered, despite the economical wonder. We have developed into a faceless, prideless, childless country full of immigrants and without a profile. We are economically successful, but a country without a soul. The losers of World War II (and rightfully so) and the losers of history. We didnīt rise like a phoenix from the ashes, but as a last, useless bubble, which is about to pop and seal the great tragedy of our people forever.
I welcome you, from the southwest of India, from about 70 km. from Mumbai ( aka Bombay ) ! Historum is a great site and your contributions will be welcome. I do not think that Germany is merely a bubble of Economy, it is much more than that even in the so called European Community. I believe that great nations , if they comprise of resilient and resolute individuals, do not die out. Your great History is itself alive in you asking you to resurrect the glory, is it not ?t
