Basileos

I am new here, obviously. It was a wonderful feeling to find another forum with like minded individuals I love History, and I respect it alot hoping for one day that the present will learn the mistakes of the past and not repeat them, which given the political climate of today, no one has learned anything and seem to take delight in creating problems for themselves.

My historical interest are foremost, the Byzantine Empire. Gibbon might have sniffed his nose at the Byzantines, but if it wasn't for that nation, Western Europe (and possibly North And South America) would have a very different path. I also like the Roman Empire up to Constantine. I also like French and English history. Particularly the women who made such an impression on historian, such as Anne Boleyn, Catherine De Medici, Marie Antionette et AL

Looking forward to chatting with more of you. And thanks for letting me in the club. :D
