This is despite the fact that there is a section under Ancient History that relates to prehistory. I have no intention of luring members and I am doing this as a learning tool. But if I am breaking any rules by doing this then there is no point in me being here anymore.
I already noticed that the definition of history is not consensual among the moderators and that at least one doesn’t consider Pre-history a part of History, so I am not surprised if anthropology could be considered a non-related science. About posting links, I won’t comment since that can even be even more debatable issue.

Anyway Von Ranke gave you a good tip, with goodwill all can be achieved.

In that case it seems like you have come up with a workable solution to your own difficulty which means you can stick around. I look forward to reading your posts on prehistory in the appropriate section.

I don't really enjoy the forum anymore, for a variety of reasons, so it's probably right for me to bow out now. If I don't ever return, I'd like to put on the record that this site was an important part of my life for a long time, and of my development as a researcher. It promoted the proper values of critical thinking and constructive argumentation, and it encouraged its participants to aspire to a very high degree of debate and engagement with history, historiography, and other members. It will always have a valued place in my memory.

Sláinte agus Beannachtaí.
Thank you for the kind words General. For the record your posts have taught me a lot about Irish History . I am especially grateful for the contributions you made to Historum the Journal. They were always informative and presented with care and intelligence. My interests also wax and wane as do yours. So it goes. Drop in now and then, let us know how the enthusiams of life are treating you.

Since I reached the hallmark, I may leave for a few weeks for personal studies and improvement plans.
