Top Freedom and Gender discrimination

Is it ethical to tell one gender that they can walk around without a shirt on and not the other?

Should we be allowed to punish one gender for doing something and not the other? Is that what we're doing by punishing women for walking around shirtless and not men?

If you are in favor of punishing women for being topless in public, why shouldn't women have the freedom to be shirtless?

If you do not accept the following premise, please refute it:

Female breasts are not innately indecent, uniquely sexual or taboo, but instead it is a learned attitude that not every human accepts, such as South Americans, Africans, etc.

I think that it is a safety issue.
Oggling males would likely be hazzard to anyone in the vacinity of such an event.

So how do you explain the lack of significant, unique safety problems where top freedom and toplessness is allowed?

Also, any oggling is primarily caused by sexualization and cultural taboos, not the breasts themselves.

I'm all in favour of the idea, tho I think there should be an age limit applied.
I don't want to see a lot of old age pensioners bouncing about with bruised kneecaps...
Yep. I'm an ageist....

Gender discrimination? Not on my watch. There should be a law that we share the same urinals, simultaneously.

From babies to centurions... I'm just not sure, I can see a reason why, but the exact same argument can be made for the genitalia, and it has in fact been used many times to promote nudism. Religious and ideological beliefs also put the argument in a completely different spectrum.

I would actually prefer that nobody walk around topless. At the beach I could care less, as I don't think my son would be scarred from seeing a woman's breasts.

Wait how can the same argument apply to nudism?

Genitals are uniquely sexual and are primary sexual organs and neither genders are allowed to display them.

There are no gender discrimination issues when laws like "No genitals may be displayed," or however the fancy lawyers word the laws.

But you wouldn't want to punish males with fines or jail time for walking around shirtless would you>?
