Culture is more to do with ethnicity. Civilization be society. My opinion anyway.

Civilization is about living in cities(or what we today might regard as "towns," but back then were regarded as cities). It has to do with holding the door open for a lady carrying a baby, or not placing your finger against one nostril and blowing your nose out onto the street. It's about being decent intentionally so you don't end up replicating that experiment where you keep adding mice to a cage(eventually they start attacking each other).

Culture is about everything else; the funny hats, religion, the lullabies, cuisine, games, stuff like that there.

This topic reminds me of the story about the Japanese minister. He was involved in a discussion with a US diplomat during the negotiations to conclude the 1905 war with Russia. The minister said, "You Westerners used to call us barbarians. But now that we have learned to kill, you call us civilized."

Do you think societies can change from one civilization to other, and there can be two civilization in the same society?

can westernization in many countries be example to these?
