I have enjoyed my season tickets to the New York Philharmonic, reading, achieving a "terminal degree" in my education, I play several musical instruments and many other such endeavors and accomplishments.

I enjoy "pop" culture it adds variety and is very interesting on a societal, if not commercial, level. The economy needs the infusion of capital supplied by those who purchase and "profit in making that crap".

There is another side benefit no one has yet brought up it gives those who wish to feel superior to others an easy target for bashing a very necessary aspect of society.

While I usually wear a fedora, I do enjoy a baseball cap every once in a while. Just not backwards which is where this "high brow" has topic headed since it's inception.
