Wherever there are topics, there are opinions. It would be nice to see more opinions backed up by sources, but I won't hold my breath waiting.
I think we take a reasonably balanced view as to how these subjects can be discussed here, so unless anyone vehemently disagrees, we'll just carry on as we have been. | | |

Same here, I try not to make my real life encounters terribly argumentative so I tend to talk about most everything on that list online. It can be done rationally. It's just a rarity. I have to say I've had the more luck with Historum than any other site when talking about controversial issues in terms of keeping things civil.

... | What would be a good source for one's own opinion? A diary reference?

It's the internet so it'll hardly get as civil as a face-to-face conversation since people don't know each other, but that shouldn't stop us from having our brains do some work.

That's the stupidest list I've ever seen. If we don't discuss those on the net, this place would be a vast, desolate wasteland without even the addition of tumbleweed to keep us interested.

We are all; you, me everyone, still in an undeveloped form... indeed in this undeveloped state the only hope we have is to communicate.
This list would be a true novelty to a higher life form...
