Being that the case, please explain how.
Thanks in advance.

Epicureanism, I like to believe, is part of my life. Maybe not as much as I'd like, but my pursuit of knowledge is what I am today.
That's what I understand of Epicureanism at least.

That's what I understand of Epicureanism at least. | Epicureanism isn't a doctrine that requires a search for knowledge. Epicureanism simply states that what is pleasurable is good and what is painful is bad, and that the best life is lived through moderate pleasures: Good friends, a relaxed atmosphere, no worries. And that includes not worrying about death. That's Epicureanism.

In response to the OP, I'd say it's useful in that it provides for interesting conversation.

No. I've never read anything said by a Greek philosopher that made any sense to me.

Would Nietzsche make more sense then? | | |

Yes, some ideas of Greek philosophy, I find them very useful... They remind me of the meaning of life...

I think that knowledge in general is useful. I don't agree, entirely, with any of the early philosophers, but I gain insight from reading about their philosophies. I think it also gives us a glimpse into the early evolution of morality.

Judaic philosophy is the only one that stays with me in my day-to-day life. I'm not as well read in Greek philosophy as many of the people on this forum anyways.
