Well, my great-great grandfather was a Mormon polygamist in Utah Territory, and if he hadn't been I might not be here today. That said, I voted NO, at least not in this country. I don't see any demand for it. A very small minority of people would likely go for it, but it just wouldn't be worth the tremendous complication it would create in litigation, legislation and restructuring. (And by the way, polygamy is still practiced in the U.S., just without legal sanction.)

Its because we live in a patriarchal society.
As to the OP, I have no issue with it, it is an expression personal freedom.

Isnt that from the charge made against him about it being consentual (ie. rape) rather than multiple partners involved?
