If he threatens to kill himself, that's emotional blackmail and deserves nothing.

And don't forget the old saying:

Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day.

Teach a man to fish, and you've saved yourself a fish.

Suicide is for the weak. The strong amongst us kill when the circumstances become unbearable.

Money = Paper, in the present world.

One example I can think of in present India is a lot of farmers committing suicide due to heavy debts. Different state and central governments have waived off debts of farmers to prevent this. Is this a solution, maybe a short term. We have to look deep in the problems and find a solution.

Should we not attempt to prevent this? It is a tragedy, even if it is their choice. If a small effort can save a life, is it not worth making?

Right, so... the weak escape by killing the debtors, the strong escape by killing the creditors?

The weak escape by committing suicide, the strong kill the oppressor.

Yes, I think we should help people while they are alive. Give incentives for living, not dying.

So, instead of fulfilling their obligations, you think the strong should just go and kill the people they owe money to when they can't pay it back?

Oppression is not just limited to money. Which is just paper with some metal threads in the present times.

I hope you have some knowledge of influential S Koreans committing suicide in the present times. Did it have anything to do with money? Were they strong?

That doesn't answer the question I asked you.

I have no idea about South Koreans committing suicide. South Korean history isn't an area of interest for me. But if you want to know about Japanese committing suicide, that's a different story.

There is a school of philosophy in which a question is answered by asking another question.

Your questions was ---> So, instead of fulfilling their obligations, you think the strong should just go and kill the people they owe money to when they can't pay it back?

Each situation has to be seen in its particular circumstances. However, there are times when one is born in to poverty, or a system which is not fair. Find out who the oppressor is and kill him.

U know all human history is interconnected. I don't really like reading about dead people but their stories do tell us why the living ones behave the way they do.

I don't know much about Japan but the Koreans and the Japanese share a lot of traits. Why would men with lots of money and power commit suicide? Coz they are weak.
